GARDEN BUTTER BEAN SALAD

GARDEN BUTTER BEAN SALAD

This is a favourite for lunch in the summer and really tasty served with a selection of cold meats or fish.

Ingredients:
Butter beans
Carrots
Rainbow Chard (coloured silverbeet)
Dressing
Fresh garlic, smashed and finely chopped
waihi bush organics Apple Cider Vinegar 
Fresh basil or coriander or whatever you have that’s fresh
waihi bush organics Flax Seed Oil or Pumpkin or Hemp Oils
Olive Oil

Topping

Toasted pumpkin, sesame and or nuts, can add olives, tomatoes

How to make:
Heat heavy fry pan
Add nuts and seeds according to size (larger first as take longer)
Toast over medium heat (you can add a bit of olive or sesame oil)
Add tsp of Tamari sauce and quickly stir into mixture.
Remove from heat and put mixture in bowl to cool for salad or hot onto vegetables
