Flax pancakes
This is great for breakfast or mid morning snack for the kids in the holidays.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups buckwheat or other all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Waihi Bush organics flax fibre
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp melted butter or cold pressed veg oil
- 1 egg
- 3-4 cups buttermilk to preferred consistency
How to make:
Place all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix in the wet ingredients to make a pourable mixture. Cook on hotplate or pan.
