Walnut Chia Slice
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/3 cup almonds
- 1/8 cup chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoon cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
- 1 Tablespoon Waihi Bush Organics flax seed oil
- 1 cup dates
- 1/3 cup sultanas
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon melted Waihi Bush Organics Coconut oil
- 1 Tablepsoon organic maple syrup
How to make:
Use a food processor, add all the ingredients into the food processor except the dates. process until quite finely chopped
With the motor still running add dates a few at a time until all used and mixture comes together. Add 1-2 Tbsp of water at the end. Needs to be quite sticky.
Press into a lined cake tin and place in the fridge to set
Cut into 5x5 cm squares
