Waihi Bush Afghans

Try these delicious gluten free and vegan cookies!

Ingredients
• 2 Tbsp Chia seeds
• 3/4 cup Gluten Free Flour
• 2/3 cup Waihi Bush Golden Flax Fibre
• 2 Tbsp Almond Butter
• 3 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
• 2 Tbsp Arrowroot Powder
• 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
• 3 Tbsp Waihi Bush Coconut Oil
• 2 Tbsp Cocoa/Cacao powder
• Pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt
• Chocolate Pieces & Walnut Halves to decorate

How to Make
1. Put Chia Seeds in a small bowl with enough water to cover seeds and soak.
2. In another bowl add dry ingredients and mix.
3. Add Maple Syrup, melted Coconut Oil, Almond Butter, Vanilla Extract, and soaked Chia Seeds.
4. Mix with your hands to form a dough consistency.
5. Take a spoonful of the mixture and create a ball, place on a lined baking tray and press down with a fork.
6. Place in the oven at 170ºC for 10 minutes.
7. Decorate with a Chocolate piece and Walnut half while still warm.
